Not for years had a horse stood about these lands and looked so right, making it all so WRONG. And baby, I was that special kind of wrong. I’m your little CHARMER, your shadow of the past. I am in this history darling, so honey get on your knees for there is no such thing as INNOCENCE, only degrees of GUILT.
I shall show you no mercy but make you SCREAM, I’ll be your little PARADOX if you can be my QUEEN.
Lips sat idly upon my mug, happily contorted into some profound smirk. The lashes that veiled my pools lay still and features were indifferent, spare the retort that hung vehenemously from my laden jowls. I stood square, pistons equally printed into the rotten earth beneath me, muscles were unmoved, sinews ceased to flex, hide refused to stretch or grow taut. My skin did not even quiver under the attack of the flies, the only movement being my banner, whose strands made like piranhas, slicing against the area that was under threat, before ebonite banner moved back into the knotted clump that hung about my hocks. Years had sculpted my frame; years had added bulk and definition to my breast, muscular shoulders that sagged back in their sockets, slender barrel, though scarred, was toned. Loins were powerfully equipped, ready to move me forward with an explosive impulsion. My crest was plump, neck shortened, but thick, proving my stallion genetics. Façade was Roman, though somewhat small, I had large nostrils, crescents that bothered not inhale nor exhale, for these lungs of mine were already full of the ashen dust that covered the exterior of these lands like a blanket. My eyes were set far apart, with long lashes that swept across the burning, gaping holes that were no more then dark, oaken liquor, a smouldering emptiness etched deep into the glassy orbs. My build was oddly put together, thoroughbred pulsing through my cells, trying feebly to add broadness to my other, distinctively Arabian element. The combination was an odd concoction, but it proved intelligent, I had the stamina of my mother’s lines, but the muscle and speed of my sire. The rest of my complexion was by my own doing. The scars that marred my chassis told many stories, a labyrinth of marks that were like hieroglyphics, printed so deep into my flesh. If you were to look closely, though I highly doubted you would get as close, you might even see the faint lines of crimson that wound round my fetlocks like the veins of a leaf, or the entwined branches of the trees, stains that would not come out of my darkly shaded appendages.
Oh I was a pretty boy, don’t deny it. I shifted my dark bay jacket about my bulk and let my pistons momentarily dance upon the ground beneath me, this was my land and baby I was gonna take it, but all it took was a little patience. The long, slightly inward ears of mine twitched and stiffly stood forward. I fancied a little bit of action, this land was practically desolate and I had spent most of my life trying to find some amusement. But is there any? Fuck no, and I am fed up of it. It was time I made some entertainment myself. It would be like Troy and Sparta. If you take what is mine, I will come from the shadows; I will come from the darkness and destroy all that you are. This is my land. But just you take it first; I will prove that I shall get it back. I think you’ll find that I am quite the obstinate caricature. These lands may have seen a hurricane but they aint seen nothing till they have met me. I am not blowing my own trumpet darling, or so to speak, but I think you’ll find I was born to this land, I am the heir to Hekloen, the last King of Ragnarok and as you shall soon see;
I am worthy.

[D]o You Have The Slightest Idea...
...[O]f The Grave Danger You Face...
The calm of it all was unnerving, like a viper poised to strike. One bite was lethal, a nibble could kill. Yet to the depths of the dying world, a tornado was quickly forming. Twas calm that scared the beasts away, allowing them a fleeting moment to make a mad dash for safety. Those soft, pathetic pieces of flesh that ran from the presense of danger, the face of the reaper. It was the evidence of weakness that allowed one insight upon another's soul. Fleeing from a potential threat was opening yourself and calling for scavengers to feast upon the remains.
The neverending darkness of deep set pools where glossy, as if tears had fallen. Such a wonderful sharade the vicious Gods played with the creatures below. Sending flaring winds to latch onto a stray hair, and send it to cut harshly into dark optics. Lids crashed harshly together as yet again onyx locks stabbed loathingly to the precious chocolatey liquid within. Yet the pain was only seen by the invisible enemies the ebony and ivory banshee held on the inside. And now, no movement was seen but her whipcord lashing harshly at her thick boa.
Lashes fluttered as she let her lids flicker up and allow her vision to blind all others. The landscape was harsh, the ground underhoof was hardpacked into place from years of rain, wind, and worthless bodies drifting over the land. Her stance was mutual, pillars sturdy and bod raised high. Her nape was raised, chin tucked deeply to her chest. Onyx forelock tossed and turned, beating at her face. Whipcord lashed furiously at her nape, creating lacurations that went ignored by her. Banner struck harshly at her backside, striking out with a vengance. Feathered hooves were fluttering, the locks that surrounded them tossing to and fro with the movements of the wind.
Her bod was built with that of Gypsy Vanner blood, for she was pure bred Vanner. Twas not a curse, as most thought it. But twas a beautiful disaster. The beauty in which she held was freightening, and the grace in which she revealed was a startling act to go up against. Her magnificent pillars moved, for the first time in an hour, on lifted. Her left foreleg was arched upwards, held high in a proud manner. She allowed it to drift forward, and back to earth. She took a step, letting her other pillars stretch and follow. Her muscles ached to allow her bod to rest, yet she forced them forward. She picked up a slow canter, allowing the beat of her hoofs to go silent. Letting her bod rock with her movements as she eased over the distance between herself and the edge of the forest.
It took little time to reach the border of the trees, and she slipped oh so carefully through. No sound, nothing at all, followed her out. But the sight before her was not the loveliest thing either. She lowered her nape, her tiara tilted so her chin was again to her chest. She lowered her forehalf to the soil, disgust apparent as her rump stuck straight up. She lashed her banner as she rose. Oh, how she hated meeting royalty. The beasts that are so arrogant they think they get all, while many plot their deaths behind their backs. Yes, how it'd feel good to stab him through the heart with her own flint, bring death to the beast that brought her such sorrow, such agony on the inside.
But she refrained from showing the brute this, instead she allowed herself to sway lightly on her pillars, then straighten. She could see the brute was spacey, thinking things over, no doubt. She didn't care, she raised her nape up, tilting her crown back and parting her dark kissers. A loud scream erupted from her, calling attention from the Dark Lord. She would hate to intrude upon his thoughts without being announced. Yet she had, oh well. She took a step forward, out of the shadows the overhanging branches allowed her. Out of hiding and into the presense of the King. Oh, how peachy.
She took a prancing step forward, allowing her bod to be seen by all. The awareness that she was exposed tinged her heart, tightened its grip upon her. Fear. Was it not setting in? To be seen by all, and not see many, is a true death sentance. A questioning of the reaper to bring upon the fate that will one day pursue her. But that twas not today. She moved forward, elegant strides taking her nearer to the brute she loathed oh so much. She neared him though, nothingness gleaming in her dark pools. She gently cooed a greeting to him, finding it possibly not to lash out at him right away. But she didn't, merey...watched.
word count tis a secret, but twas destiny to be revealed soon ;; 835 status finished by the authors thoughts ;; incomplete to the world around muse nonexistent

Isn’t life grand? Don’t you just love the way life casts out those little adventures for you? The way it throws you the bone once in a while to have a nibble on. If God gave you lemons you made lemonade, and if the almighty God so chose it fit to give me FLESH then I proclaimed I would USE it. That beast that carved us into what we are chose to make me a delicious piece lump of carcass and so it was my unbound duty to use it to its full advantage. BABY, it may appear to you that I have a large EGO and that I have my head firmly fixed up my arse, but as you shall soon learn, my c.ocky, obnoxious demeanour goes only as far as my interior. I have a great complexion you see and it would be a shame to ruin it by ABUSING it to the lengths of making a mockery of everything. I have PRIDE; just by having such I am bound to keep my chalice looking remotely SANE. If only on the outside.
I saw you before you even smelt me. Optics rolled about inside their sockets, great pools of a mouton mahogany and dark obsidian latched onto the large form of your skeletal. Your Gypsy frame sauntered through the dense trees and you were momentarily lost from my view; not that it mattered, there would be nowhere for you to attack me from without me seeing you a great length of time before you reached me. I stood on the very summit of the great peak, surrounded by nothing other then a rough yet flat platform, trees erupting up the mountainside to my left and nothing more then cliff faces to my right. If you were here to combat me we would fit right up against the wall and either one of us would face the terror of perishing by being pushed over the edge of the peak and down onto the rough shards of rock that sat below. As you emerged from the trees to stand before me I could not help but let a small, fleeting smile creep up against my lips; you looked like you were trying to deny it so badly. I looked away and down onto the land that sat below, don’t worry My dearest Wench, you want to kill me does not bother me; after all, I would be jealous if I was in your position. I mean, come on; just look at me. I grunted inwardly, but kept my optics fixed sternly on the lands mapped out beneath my sharp flints.
You were the first of many to grace these lands and you had so rightly sought out the King, alas you would not find him here. I may have been the rightful heir but I had not yet taken that title that you so sought. I promise you this honey, I would be king, but I wanted to watch someone become King first; only so I could strip them from their title. I would play the right hand man and submit to their every need, I would slave away for their very being only to slice it from them when they would least expect it. This land was boring and so I therefore needed to entertain myself. One thing I am not about to do is tell you who I am. The name I shall tell you will sound familiar and you may even hear it spoken by some of the others around this morbid land; but as far as you are concerned I am no more then a mortal being such as yourself.
My jowls unlatched from one another and dark turrets turned so that they fixed stiffly onto your form. Only then did I swing round my great dial so that my eyes could bore into yours, my movements slow, almost lazy and lethargic. Harsh complexion cast an even harder expression as I looked to you.
“Care to introduce yourself, wench?” My tones were harsh as they drummed out from my baritone vocals, all but serious; whereas inside I was laughing hysterically. [/blockquote]
